About This Program
Our flagship Youth Media & Leadership Workshops program is designed to equip young people aged 12-18 with the critical thinking and creative skills needed to navigate today's media landscape while developing their own authentic voices.
Through hands-on workshops, participants learn video production, podcasting, photography, and digital storytelling. But it's more than just technical skills—we focus on media literacy, helping youth critically analyze the content they consume and create messages that reflect their values and experiences.
The leadership component helps participants develop confidence, public speaking abilities, and project management skills. Each cohort culminates in a final project where youth produce original media content that addresses issues important to them and their communities.
